Want to try woodworking without committing to a long course? Our Woodworking Essentials class is the perfect budget-friendly way to step into The Makers Society workshop and explore the world of machines and joinery.

In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to safely use the table saw and router table, two of the most essential tools in any workshop. You’ll also get introduced to basic joinery techniques, and by the end of the class, you’ll walk away with a handmade picture frame—a beautiful and functional project to take home and proudly display.

No prior experience needed—just curiosity and a desire to create.

Age Requirement
For safety reasons, participants must be 16 years or older. Those aged 16–17 may join only with direct adult supervision. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate anyone under 16.
