What is The Makers Society?We are a vibrant community and maker's space in Dubai, dedicated to woodworking enthusiasts of all levels. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, we offer classes, workshops, and a fully equipped workshop to help you hone your craft. What are your opening hours?We are open from Tuesday to Sunday, form 09:00 AM to 08:00 PM We are closed on Monday. Rental times are every day from 10:00 to 18:00.

Do you have parking?Yes, we have a lot of parking available in front of our facility!

How is the space?We operate on an area of 400 sqm. We have an isolated room with state-of-the-art woodworking machines that you can use, which are included in your rental fee. Another part is dedicated to the workbenches, where you can do your hand woodworking in a calm and quiet environment.

Do you run workshop tours?Yes, we do! If you are interested in visiting our workshop and know more about it, just drop us an email at support@makingdubai.com and we will arrange it for you.

Are children allowed to enter the workshop?Yes, they are but under the strict supervision of the Member who is responsible at all times. Minors under 18 years old are not allowed to use machines. For more information, please refer to our Terms and Conditions .

How can I pay my service?Most of our transactions happen on the website and you can pay using the major credit and debit cards. For some services, like for example, bringing a second person to use your workbench, you will be sent a link for the payment and the booking confirmed once the payment is processed.

Is there any limit to the size of my project?There is not a specific size limitation we can tell you right now as it depends on how much space the construction takes. For example, if you are planning to build a full library, and you want to have it mounted here on site, most probably your workbench space won't allow you to have it done. If you have any doubts on the matter, please contact one of our staff to make sure of what you can do.

Can I have my items shipped to The Makers Society?Yes sure you can! You can use our address. If you are shipping items of large size, please consider that we have a limited space here and you should coordinate it with us. We also recommend that you are present on the delivery day so you can organize your stuff. If you are not there, we can do it for you but we reserve the right to apply a handling fee of AED 150.
