Bring Your Own Tools or Purchase a Starter Kit
To ensure you build the right habits from the start, our Foundations Course is taught using professional-grade hand tools.
Students are expected to work with their own toolset during the course, which supports personal familiarity and skill development.
If you don’t already own tools, we’ve curated a Starter Kit available for purchase at The Makers Society. It includes everything you need to get started and is selected based on quality, ease of use, and long-term reliability.
These are the same tools used by instructors and seasoned woodworkers, giving you a seamless learning experience in and beyond the course.
